Jammu: Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, which was blocked due to landslide, has now been cleared for vehicular movement this morning.
The movement on the highway was also restricted earlier following the avalanche warnings issued by the Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE).
Meanwhile, heavy snowfall in Pir Panjal mountain range has led to many roads in the region being blocked. The authorities are working relentlessly to clear the blockage.
On Sunday, Snow and Avalanche Study Establishment (SASE) had issued a Medium danger avalanche warning for several regions in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. (ANI)
