Hyderabad, January 14: Justice Srikrishna committee has tried to mislead the public by presenting wrong facts and figures of Muslims’ backwardness in its report. This way the committee has tried to weaken the demand of separate Telangana.
President Minority Cell TRS and politburo member Mr. Mahmood Ali said Srikrishna committee report is not acceptable from any aspect therefore Telangana people have rejected the report. He alleged that the report has been prepared under the pressure of Andhra leaders.
It has been tried to split Muslims through presenting misleading report regarding Muslims.
He said ‘no survey is required to confirm the educational and financial backwardness of Muslims in Telangana as Justice Bhaskar Rao Commission had recommended 4 percent reservation for Muslims on the basis of backwardness itself.
There is not a single Muslim organization which is not supporting Telangana movement. He said.
