Srihari announces Eamcet-2016 results 4 city boys, 6 AP students bag top 10 Engg ranks ; 2 AP boys, 3 TS girls top in Ag streams

Four students from Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy bagged top four ranks while the rest of six out of 10 ranks by Andhra students in the Telangana State Eamcet 2016 results announced today by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari at a press conference at Secretariat here. Three girls from Telangana districts bagged top 10 agricultural and allied ranks while the rest of seven from Andhra Pradesh.

In engineering stream – Tulluri Sai Teja (Kukatpally) bagged first rank with 100 per cent marks by scoring 160 compared to combined score. D Chetan Sai (Madhapur) bagged second rank by securing 159 marks, G Nikhil Samrat (Madhapur) got third rank, K Vignesh Reddy (Madhapur) fourth rank and fifth rank holder Ch Rahul is from Guntur who secured 158 marks. Those who got 157 marks are Andhra students including B Venkata Sai Ganesh fifth rank (Guntur), Kondeti Tanmayee sixth rank (Vizianagaram), Ganta Gautham seventh rank (Eluru, WG Dist), N Jayakrishna Sai Vinay eighth rank (Guntur) and S Vamshi Krishna Reddy 10th rank (Visakhapatnam).

In Agriculture and allied streams – three AP boys topped the examination with first, third and ninth ranks while three girls from Telangana secured second, fourth and fifth ranks with 160 marks compared to combined score.

Kadapa lad Bojja Pradeep Reddy stood first, Somala Pratyusha from Miryalaguda of Nalgonda district secured second rank, Mohammed Arbaz from Vijayawada bagged third rank, V Pranathi from Secunderabad secured fourth rank and A Yagna Priya from Saidabad (Hyderabad) got fifth rank.

Similarly those who all secured 159 marks are Zeeshan Ahmed Jaleeli of old city’s Bahadurpura got sixth rank, Rajupalem Ujwal of Nizampet (Ranga Reddy) seventh rank, T Kaushik of Warangal eighth rank, P Sailaja of Visakhapatnam ninth rank and A Srinidhi of Miryalaguda got 10th rank respectively.

Srihari said that the rank cards can be downloaded from June 6 from and OMR Answer sheets from www.tseamcet.in and rectify any discrepancies. The percentage of qualified candidates for whom the rank is awarded for engineering stream is 77.88 and for agriculture and allied streams is 83.98.

Of 92.33 attendance in engineering stream 1,03,923 students qualified out of 1,33,428 appeared and of 88.32 attendance in Agriculture 75,681 students cleared out of 90,114 students appeared.

The Government will conduct MBBS and BDS examinations as per announced schedule on July 9 and classes will be conducted at a later date after the completion of inspections of some engineering colleges for norms Srihari stated.  (NSS)
