Sri Lanka vs New Zealand: Do or die for both teams

Johannesburg, September 27: Sri Lanka (SL) will try to bring their Champions Trophy campaign back on track after humiliating six wickets defeat against England when the meet New Zealand (NZ) here today.

Sri Lanka will take on New Zealand in their last Group ‘B’ match here at New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

The point chart of Group ‘B’ match has been evenly poised after Sri Lanka’s defeat against England. Sri Lanka and South Africa have played two matches each and they won one match respectively. England won their first ODI match of Champions Trophy while New Zealand is still waiting for a victory.

Sri Lanka will definitely try to thrash the struggling Kiwis today. Another defeat could send them back to home here today.

On the other hand, New Zealand has played one game in the group against South Africa and faced defeat. They will also try to reunite against Sri Lanka to take revenge of Compaq Cup defeat. The Black caps will also eyeing to make the tally complicated for semi final berths in the Group ‘B’ with a win here. New Zealand would fly back to home after today’s defeat.
