Sri Lanka will reportedly host Pakistan for two Tests and three ODIs in August, which will take the 2014 tally of both the countries to nine Tests, provided everything goes on schedule.
While there has been a loose agreement on the series in Sri Lanka, tour dates have not yet been confirmed.
According to The Dawn, officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed the tour a day after the International Cricket Council (ICC) board meeting.
Meanwhile, the PCB earlier said it had agreed to the revised ICC resolutions only on the conditions that it would get bilateral series with all members from 2015-2023, with chairman Najam Sethi saying that Pakistan decided to change its stance after the ‘resolutions have been diluted considerably and are now unobjectionable’.
