Hyderabad: Dy. CM of Telangana State and Minister of Education, Mr. K. Sri Hari told in Assembly yesterday that Govt. is considering providing mid-day meal to the students of Govt. junior colleges.
The present strength of students studying in junior colleges is 1.73 lakh. Mr. KCR has made education free up to intermediate level. Telangana is the only State in the entire country wherein free education is provided up to Intermediate level. In addition to it, textbooks are also supplied. This has resulted in the large number of enrollments in schools and colleges.
