Kochi, May 28: Former captain Mohammed Azharuddin has said S Sreesanth was a good swing bowler with lots of talent but he should use his brain more than his talent.
Addressing a press conference here late last night, Azharuddin said ”I think he has got lot of talent but to be very honest he should use his brain more than his talent.” While hastening to add that his comments should not be taken in a wrong way, Azhar said he was a very good loop bowler and one who really swings the ball.
Praising the talent of Sreesanth, Azharuddin said not many bowlers in the world swing naturally. ”I think talent is totally wasted. He needs to understand that he has the talent and needs to deliver and remain fit,” Azharuddin added. ”I am saying this for his betterment as not many bowlers now-a-days swing the ball and Sreesanth is one of the best bowlers who can swing the ball,” he noted.
