Responsibilities: As a key member of MobileIron’s Security group, you will perform:
Security reviews of products
– Assess existing security vulnerabilities and customer issues and create mitigation plans, including code evaluation in Java, operating system patching and tuning, and CVE analysis
– Interact with third-party vulnerability assessment partners
– Operate internal vulnerability assessment tools and work with internal development and QA teams to assess issues and determine mitigation options
– Interact with cross-functional groups including product management, customer support and sales to respond to customer escalations.
– Automation tools development for security scanning and testing.

Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required
– Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science preferred) and 3-9 years of experience with security engineering/security tools development
– Excellent programming skills in Java and a scripting language
– Experience with security and hardening for public-internet-facing applications on Linux operating systems
– Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
– Knowledgeable in three or more of the following areas:
– Application vulnerability assessment
– Threat and risk assessment and analysis
– TCP/IP, network infrastructure
– Cryptography
– Security Tools – dynamic and static analysis tools (e,g.Fortify/CheckMarx, Nessus/Nexpose)
– Mobile Security (iOS /Android)
– Web Application Security
– Security best practices
Desired Skills:
– Experience working with Java and highly available web applications
