Hyderabad, September 26: Inter-collegiate sports, games, cultural and literary meet will be organised jointly by the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University and College of Home Science at the sports complex in the Angrau premises from September 27 to 30.
Speaking to mediamen here today, Dr. S V Ramakrishna Rao, dean, student affairs, Angrau said nearly 1,000 students from 13 different affiliated colleges of NG Ranga university will participate.
“The inter-collegiate sports and games are being held in a phased manner. As many as 350 students participated in various competitions held at Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati under the first phase. In the second phase, at least 450 students will participate in the sports meet, scheduled to be held at Angrau while 200 students will participate in the third phase, to be held on October 8,9,10 and 11 in Aswaraopet in Khammam district, ‘’ he added.
