Spl Task Force on Hyd. Pharma City set up

The State Government has constituted a Special Task Force Committee to advise and monitor speedy development of Hyderabad Pharma City at Mutcherla village under Kandukur mandal in Ranga Reddy district.

Keeping in view the importance of the project, the government has felt it necessary to have representation of officials and industrialists in the Special Task Force Committee with Secretary to Government & CIP, Industries & Commerce Department– Chairperson, Member Secretary, T.S. Pollution Control Board –Member , Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS & SB)—Member , District Collector/Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy/ Mahabubnagar/ Nalgonda—Member ,Representative of TS Transco—Member, Representative of T.S. Southern Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. –Member, Chief Engineer, Roads & Buildings – Member, Representatives from Bulk Drug Manufactures Association (BDMA)–(3) Members , Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation –Member-Convener.

The GO Ms No 33 issued on Thursday stated that the Task Force Committee shall meet once a month or whenever necessary and monitor the progress of implementation of the project.

The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Hyderabad has stated that a meeting was convened recently on development of Hyderabad Pharma City at Mucherla village with the Bulk Drugs Manufacturing Association (BDMA), consultants, Pharma Entrepreneurs and officials of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Corporation Limited, T.S.Transco, T.S. Polution Control Board, R&B. & Revenue. It has been opined in the meeting to form a Special Task Force Committee for Development of Hyderabad Pharama City on FAST TRACK consisting the members from BDMA, APPCB, TS TRANSCO, TSSPDCL, R&B, HMW&SB, Revenue Authorities (Collectors/Joint Collectors/RDO’sconcerned), TSIIC, and TSPCB. The Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, Hyderabad has requested the Government to appoint a Special Task Force Committee for Development of “State-of-Art Pharma City with the world-class infrastructure, support facilities & utilities and for speedy grounding the Project in the State of Telangana.
