Hyderabad: A burglar, notorious for his ‘spidery skills’ was arrested by Panjagutta police on Tuesday. According to police, Pogu Venkateswarlu, 37, climbs buildings by clutching on to pipes and windows at the back and reaches balconies. He then breaks balcony door locks by using iron rods and breaks into flats to steal cash and valuables.
According to a report published in Deccan Chronicle, Venkateswarlu a native of Kurnool district was imprisoned 10 times for thefts committed across AP and Telangana, and has five non bailable warrants pending against him in AP and Telangana.
140 grams of gold, cash and valuables worth Rs 4 lakh were recovered from him by the police.
