Sphoorthi (Forum for Social Cause) on Friday demanded that all political parties incorporate Youth Policy in their manifestoes in connection with the ensuing general elections.
Speaking to media persons here, Sphoorthi president Dr C. Veerandar said under the present situation a Youth Policy was indispensable and hoped there would be a positive e change in the society if all political parties formulated youth policy and incorporate it in their manifestoes ahead of the general elections.
In the wake of Scientific Methodology Leadership in the present situation, a Youth Policy would begin a new process for younger generation, he observed. Apart from providing employment to the youth, there was a need to introduce professional courses in the colleges, he added.
Dr Veerander said he would be meeting leaders of all political parties shortly to plead with them to formulate youth policy and include it in their manifestoes.
