A SPF (Special Protection Force) Constable posted at the Secretariat committed suicide in Burjgalli under the Amberpet Police Station limits.
According to police, the deceased B Prakash Veer, 39, was suffering from chronic illness including diabetes and kidney ailments for the past one year. He committed suicide by hanging with a skipping wire inside his residence on Tuesday night. Relatives told the police that he used to quarrel with his wife regularly on petty issues, including the future of their two school going daughters. He was absent for duty for the last 35 days.
Amberpet police registered a case of suicide and sent the body for post-mortem to Osmania Hospital. (INN)
