Hyderabad, December 27: A 42-year-old man was mowed down by unidentified train while crossing the railway track at Shivrampally late on Saturday night.
According to Sub-Inspector Rama Rao, E Sambashiva Rao was a labourer and a resident of Katedhan.
On Saturday night Sambashiva Rao was crossing the railway tracks at Shivrampally when a speeding train mowed him down. It is believed that he did not notice the train before it was too late. He died on the spot.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and shifted the body to hospital for autopsy.
A case has been registered after handing over the body of victim to his family members.
