Los Angeles: Actor Vin Diesel says the experience of working with veteran actress Helen Mirren on “Fast 8” was surreal and special.
The 49-year-old action star praised his new “Fast & Furious” co-star during a Facebook Live stream.
“There’s another person who you all said, ‘Get her in this movie,’ which was Helen Mirren. One of the best days I had on ‘Fast 8,’ the best scenes I did on ‘Fast 8’ was working with Helen Mirren.
“It was so special and so surreal, and she’s such a wonderful, wonderful talent. It was such a blessing and I’ll always remember the fact that we worked together,” Diesel said.
The “xXx” star then recalled that over a decade ago, after he had cast Judi Dench in “The Chronicles of Riddick,” Michael Caine had actually suggested he work with Mirren some day.
