Special prayers for 12% reservation after Eid namaz – Religious Head agreed

Hyderabad: Muslim Ulema and Imams of mosques have agreed to offer special prayers for 12% reservations to Muslims after Namaz-e-Eid at various places. By offering these prayers, Mr. KCR would be reminded of his election promise for providing 12% reservation to Muslims. He would also be reminded about the memoranda submitted by various Muslims leaders and people.

Siasat Urdu Daily has made all the arrangements for the distribution of printed memorandum to be given at places of Eid congregation. Parents are worried about the future of their children. They are demanding the CM to fulfill his election promise by obtaining recommendations from BCs Commission for providing 12% reservations to Muslims.

The campaign started by Siasat Urdu Daily is getting intensified in Telangana districts. Maulana Ateeq Ahmed Qasimi, Chairman, Safa Baitulmal of Zaheerabad presented a memorandum to Dy. Tehsildar of Zaheerabad. Maulana Naushad Alam convened a meeting in Cherial Mandal of Warangal District and passed a resolution to support the campaign launched by Siasat Urdu Daily. Mr. Mohammed Jamal Shareef, President Muslim Development Committee of Jangaon of Waragal district highlighted the details of the movement for getting 12% reservations for Muslims. He appealed to the Muslims to become part of the movement.

The important thing of this movement is that all the leaders are supporting it irrespective of their political associations. Religious organizations are also cooperating in this campaign. Students of Govt. Girls’ Degree College, Sanga Reddy (Medak) started signature campaign. Mr. Syed Shahnawaz, General Secretary of College Development Committee of Sanga Reddy met incharge Collector of Medak, Mr. Venkat Ram Reddy and presented a memorandum to him for providing 12% reservation. A delegation consisting of Mr. Meer Samad Naz, Mr. Mohammed Shafiuddin and others representing Educational Development Society of Sadasivapet, Medak District met the Tehsildar of Sadasivapet and presented a memorandum to him demanding 12% reservation for Muslims. A delegation of the Muslims of Bichkunda of Nizamabad met RDO, Nizamabad and submitted a memorandum for 12% reservation to Muslims.
