Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana has decided to offer special package for Muslims during Ramazan. Under this scheme, Iftar would be organized in 200 mosques of the State. MLAs have been requested to identify five mosques of their constituencies. Govt. is also decided to distribute clothes among the Muslims in 200 mosques. This responsibility has been entrusted to State Wakf Board. CEO of Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Asadullah has called for tenders for the selection and distribution of clothes. 100 mosques from Greater Hyderabad and 100 mosques from other districts would be selected for hosting Iftaar parties.
Earlier, Govt. used to host Iftaar party on the larger scale but the CM has decided to make arrangements for Iftaar in 200 mosque of Muslim concentration areas.
