Special counter for septuagenarian Hajj aspirants

Hyderabad, April 9: The Andhra Pradesh State Hajj Committee has made arrangements for a Special Counter at the Regional Passport Office, Secunderabad in the afternoon of 19th April for the Hajj aspirants under Reserved Category of 70 years and above.

Only those aspirants will benefit from the facility who had submitted their forms before April 7.

Mr Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed, Chairman State Hajj Committee, has requested all those Hajj pilgrims under reserved category of 70+ years who have submitted their Hajj Applications before April 7 and were not issued the Passports till now to bring with them copies of all the necessary documents they had submitted along with the Passport Application. They should also bring the copies of the File Number and copy of the Passport Application.

Executive Officer of the Hajj Committee Mr. Mahboob Peeran met the Regional Passport Officer Mr Srinivas Goutru and represented him the matter of issuing Passports to the Pilgrims under Reserved Category. The RPO agreed to provide all necessary help to such pilgrims and asked the Hajj Committee officials to furnish details about such pilgrims so that after studying them the matters could be settled at the earliest.
