Finance Minister Etala Rajender today revealed that the State government would set up a special cell in Karimnagar district headquarters to solve the problems of the farmers immediately.
Speaking to the media at Karimnagar district headquarters here on Sunday, Etela alleged that the farmers were committing suicides due to unbearable losses accumulated because of the TDP, BJP and Congress parties’ negligent attitude. He said the TRS government was standing behind the farmers and wiping out their tears from time to time.
Stating that Asha workers’ pay hike issue was under the purview of the Union government, Karimnagar MP Vinod Kumar appealed to CITU leaders not to blame the State government needlessly. He said the State government was addressing a letter to the Union Medical & Health Minister in this regard.
The Finance Minister and local MP released a Bathukamma CD prepared by Telangana Jagruthi. MLAs Gangula Kamalakar, Manohar Reddy, Mayor Ravinder Singh and others participated in the program. (NSS)
