On the direction of Minister for Minority Welfare, Awqaf and Urdu Academy Mr. Mohammed Ahmedullah, the Minority Welfare department has begun special arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha.
Joint secretary C Parveen Baig has sent a memo in this regard to various departments and directed effective measures for Eid-ul-Azha. Sending a letter to Municipal commissioner Hyderabad, general manager RTC, superintendent engineer power distribution company, director fire service, commissioner police Hyderabad and other officials he requested to make cleaning arrangements around Eidgah Mir Aalam, Eidgah Madannapet and other Eidgahs and masajid.
He also requested for uninterrupted power supply on Eid Day. He also called for sufficient police bandobast.
