Hyderabad, January 04: The Regional Passport Office will organise a special Adalat at 10.30 a.m. on January 8 to clear pending applications for passports since 2009 to the first half of 2010. The adalat will be in addition to the regular monthly adalat held on the second Wednesday of every month.
The adalat will look into the cases of applicants who applied for passport between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. Those who have applied later can attend the regular monthly adalat on Jan 12 at 2.30 p.m. or approach the inquiry counters on any working day at 9.30 a.m.
Applicants should note that pending applications from 2009 will be closed if proper response is not received in cases where the application is pending for want of additional documents, an official press release said today.
