New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today condoled the death of Kamla Advani, wife of BJP veteran L K Advani, remembering her as a “sociable and inspiring persona”
“I am pained to learn about the sad demise of Kamlaji Advani. Besides being a constant source of inspiration and support behind Shri (L K) Advani’s political career for more than five decades, Kamlaji’s sociable and inspiring persona also motivated each one of us.
“I recall that she stoically maintained her calm and dignity in all situations, be it an adversity or a favorable situation. She was also an active and silent social worker among the masses,” Mahajan said in a statement.
