TDP whip Dhulipala Narender has urged the speaker to take action against all the nine MLAs of the party for defying the whip during the No Confidence Motion.
“I am surprised to hear that some of them saying that they did not receive the whip,” he said.
Venugopalachary and Harishwar Reddy told the Speaker that they did not receive the whip and the question of disqualification does not arise.
Speaker N Manohar has adjourned the hearing of the two MLAs to May 18 after they said they did not receive the whip. (INN)
