Close on the heels of shameful rape incident in children’s home in Allahabad, three more molestation cases have come to light in Uttar Pradesh. In a shocking incident, two girls of a government hostel, run by Social Welfare Department of UP which houses 300 students, had alleged that Class four employees attempted to rape them.
The Standard X student charged Rakesh Chaurasiya, the IV Class employee, with attempting to rape her. Another
student has alleged that IV Class employee D N Gupta molested her.
Taking cognizance of the allegations, both the employees had been arrested and sent to jail after an FIR
against them, a government spokesman said here this evening.
UP Social Welfare Minister Avdehs Prasad ordered the probe into the incidents while both were placed under
suspension. Meanwhile, a high-level team is reaching Kushinagr for further probe.
