New Delhi, December 05: After Congress leader Digvijay Singh welcomed Allahabad High Court order on land for Anil Ambani group promoted Dadri power project in UP, Samajwadi Party today wondered whether it was the Congress leader’s personal view or that of the party.
“I wonder whether this is his (Digvijay’s) personal view or that of the Congress, because he is in-charge of UP and not the party’s spokesman. The EGOM under chairmanship of Pranab Mukherjee had taken the decision to allot gas to Dadri,” SP leader Amar Singh said.
He said Congress is identified with having a pro development stance and its leader Rahul Gandhi stands for development.
“In Dadri, a large power project is coming up. If Congress is expressing happiness (on the court order) does it mean that he (Digvijay) is in contradiction to the decision of his own party’s EGOM,” Singh asked.
