Lucknow, December 25: Several Samajwadi Party leaders of Bulandshahr including its district president and senior BJP leader Mahendra Singh Yadav have joined Ajit Singh-led Rashtriya Lok Dal in support of a separate Harit Pradesh comprising western districts of Uttar Pradesh.
SP district unit president of Bulandshahr, Chaudhary Gambhir Singh, SP Yuvjan Sabha president Dharamvir Singh were among many SP leaders and workers who joined the RLD in the presence of Ajit Singh yesterday supporting the cause of a separate Harit Pradesh, RLD spokesman Anil Dubey said here today.
The former education minister belonging to the BJP, Mahendra Singh Yadav, also joined the RLD over the issue of Harit Pradesh as well as RLD’s continued struggle in favour of the state farmers, Dubey said.
