Southwest flight diverted after boy born midair

Chicago, December 05: A Baby was born on a Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago to Salt Lake City yesterday, with the pilot diverting to Denver to ensure mother and son received proper medical care.

The baby boy and his mother were in good health, Southwest said, and had been taken to a Denver hospital.

The baby was born at 10,000m about 160km north of Denver International Airport.

The woman’s husband and their other children were also on the flight.]
