In an adhoc meeting of South India Small and Medium Newspapers Association deep sorrow and grief was expressed on the death of poet, writer and senior journalist Hasan Farrukh. Association president Mr. Mohammed Kazim Ali Khan told that Hasan Farrukh’s death is a great loss for journalism and literature. The services rendered by Hasan Farrukh for the promotion and development of Urdu as a responsible officer of Urdu Academy is remarkable. He made a history of bold journalism and straightforwardness during his association with Rahnuma-e-Deccan for 3 decades.
