New Delhi, February 20: Sound coming out of a parcel kept inside a post office created scare in a south Delhi locality this afternoon but it later turned out to be a harmless toy pistol.
Police received a call from Lajpat Nagar post office that they suspect that a parcel contains a bomb.
“A person heard some sound coming out of a parcel after which he gave a call to police,” a senior police official said.
Bomb disposal teams and dog squads rushed to the spot.
“After checking the parcel, it was found that it was a Chinese toy pistol,” the official said.
