Actor Nandamuri Harikrishna here on Wednesday said he had expected that his brother-in-law and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu would give him a ticket to contest from one of the Assembly constituencies in Krishna district.
Speaking to mediapersons, Harikrishna said he had requested Chandrababu Naidu to field him from Penamaluru Assembly constituency during the latter’s padayatra. “But they are spreading false campaign that I did not seek a seat at all. It is totally false. He also reminded that he had asked for Hindupuram Lok Sabha seat during the party politburo meeting. (NSS)
