Hyderabad, September 18: On August 6 this year a cloud burst hit Ladakh which left the place in utter chaos. Lots of people lost their lives and few still remain missing.
To extend a helping hand towards people who have suffered during this natural calamity NDTV Lifestyle foundation has initiated the campaign, SOS Ladakh.
NDTV Goodtimes has organized this show of photographs to raise funds for the same.
The show contains photographs taken by five photographers, Amit Parischa, Vikram Bawa, Daboo Ratnani and two actors from Hindi movies, Arshad Warsi and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The photographers have left no stone unturned in exploring the splendidly captivating vicinities of Ladakh.
The photographs unveil the terrain and landscape of Ladakh. The picturesque beauty of the place is rightly complimented by the presence of the local folk in some of the photographs.
The glimpses of mundane life in Ladakh have been captured from interesting perspectives and distances.
The portraits of children and other locals are a treat to look at. The exhibition-cum-sale will go on till September 20.
