Sordid story of a Hyderabadi girl adopted

Hyderabad, Jan 05 (Nayeem Wajahat): This is a wrong notion that children of Indian origin having weak financial background groom lavishly if adopted by foreigners.

Here is a real life story where Siasat Daily played vital role to get a girl reunited with her real parents. The girl in question is Insha Mogtel aka Anisha Fatima who now resides in Germany.

She is of the opinion that financially weak parents should change their attitude towards their children and never treat them as burden. Whatever available for eating, should provide but never separate their children from their loving canopy.

Yes, I agree that children’s happiness and prosperity is the first preference of all parents and to achieve this, parents sacrifice their own luxuries. In the list of sacrifices, the wound of separation from their children, held the top spot. However, think of those children who are being separated from their real parents.

Though they lead a lavish lifestyle but somewhere, in the corner of their hearts, they miss their real parents thinking that they would be better off even if they would not get two square meals per day but the compassion of their real parents would be there.

It is to be recalled that Siasat played vital role in reuniting Insha with her real parents way back in 2004. At that time she was just 14. A social activist Geeta Ram Somiah had contacted the Siasat office. After the publication of the news in Siasat, the tracing task of Insha’s parents was completed.

They belonged to Bontapally, a remote village in Medak district. Insha’s real mother Fatima Bi and father Pasha used to live there. Later, both husband and wife got separated and Fatima Bi shifted to Hyderabad. She was pregnant at that time. She delivered a baby girl at Erragadda’s Christian Missionary hospital on September 28, 1990. The irony of it was that She had no money to feed her infant with milk leave alone paying the hospital bill. Later, the infant was handed over to an orphanage and from there a German couple adopted the infant i.e. Insha.

She has once again come to Hyderabad to meet her real mother. After meeting her mother, Insha came to Siasat office and met Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, managing editor and expressed her gratitude towards the efforts of the newspaper and said that it was Siasat who helped her tracing her real mother after a long gap of 14 years.

During her interview, she said that she is now residing in Germany where she is the student of class XII. Next year, her education will be completed that she will be employed in Germany itself. She is also planning to come back to her real parents in Hyderabad forever. She became sentiment when describing her life in Germany.

According to her, she is enjoying every worldly luxury but then too, she misses her real parents. My heart always beats for India and Hyderabad. Her real mother also loves her very much like any other mother and wants Anisha Fatima to come back to Hyderabad as soon as possible.

Anisha has piece of advise for economically backward parents. She said that parents should not let foreigners adopt their children as no love can match the love of real parents on this earth.

It doesn’t mean that she is not grateful to her adopted/foster parents. They provided her all convenience and facility but what to do. She is still vying to be with her real mother. It is but natural.

She also said that she has some problems in Germany, which she can’t disclose. In Germany, a documentary film is also under production based on the life story of Insha Mogtel aka Anisha Fatima and the unit of the film is in Hyderabad.
