New Delhi: Sonu Nigam on Tuesday shared a video ‘Kaagaz’ in support of demonetisation and said that it is a better step for our future.
In the video the singer is seen playing with little kids and reading a book ‘Jawaharlal Nehru: The Discovery of India’ and also talking about mothers.
His narration starts with, “’Kaagaz’, kaagaz pe sangeet rehta hai, kaagaz pe shikhsha milti hai”.
Further the lyrics of the song go as, “Kaagaz pe itehaas basta hai. Kaagaz me maa dikhti hai, fir ma ki kami chubti hai. Kaagaz meh laxmi, jab tijori ki kaid meh chupti hai. Kaagaz meh khabareh aati hai. Fir kaagaz nhi bass raddi reh jaati hai.”
He further adds, “Jab kaagaz ki keemat badalti hai, tab desh ki kismat badalti hai. Honsla rakho yaaro mana ki kaagaz abb sach me kala hai par kaagaz ko rakh karne valo, aage naya ujala hai.”
The video ends with the title of the short film, ‘Kaagaz’.
The short film is directed by Milap Milan Zaveri and is produced by Zhoossh.
