Munger, July 15: Two persons, who were allegedly hired by two youths for killing their fathers to secure jobs on compassionate ground, have been arrested here.
Mahendra Mandal (50) and Sanjay Vishnu Rout (55), two railway employees, were killed earlier this month allegedly by the duo, Additional Superintendent of Police Sridhar Mandal said today.
During interrogation, they claimed that Mahendra”s son Ajay and Sanjay”s son Vikash hired them and paid Rs 1 lakh and Rs 60,000 respectively for eliminating their fathers only to secure jobs in the railway department on compassionate grounds. The ASP said the arrested men confessed of being part of a gang of contract killers and having killed Mahendra and Sanjay on June 24 and July 8 respectively.
The sons were absconding, he said.
