Sonia should follow Gadkari’s example and agree to probe:Uma

BJP leader Uma Bharti today joined her senior LK Advani in defending party president Nitin Gadkari praising his offer to stand probe and also asked Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to follow suit and agree to an inquiry into similar charges against her son-in-law Robert Vadra.

Ms Bharti told that the stand taken by Mr Gadkari over the allegations of corruption against him was exemplary and the Congress leaders, including Finance Minister P Chidambaram, too should agree to probe into charges levelled against them.

“Robert Vadra in himself is a nonentity, but since he is a relative of Ms Gandhi, she should come clean on the allegations by subjecting his dealings to an independent probe,” the BJP leader said.
