Sonia, Jagan Parties Will Meet Same Fate in AP: Yanamala

Reacting to Karanataka Assembly election results on Wednesday, Telugu Desam party politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has said the ruling Congress and the YSR Congress Party of Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy would meet the same fate of Yeddyurappa’s KJP and Gali Janardhana Reddy’s BSP Congress, in the next Assembly elections in the State.
In a statement here today, Yanamala opined that split in the ruling BJP’s vote bank, BJP’s close connections with corrupt and mafia don Gali Janardhana Reddy and anti-incumbency factor led to the rout of the BJP, KJP and BSR Congress party in that State.
Yanamala stated that former chief minister Yeddyurappa, who was neck-deep in corruption and multi-crore scams, could not hoodwink the masses even though he had walked out of the BJP and founded his own party. Though he banked on the support of his strong Lingayat community in that State, Yeddy had to bite the dust because of his shady activities. The people of Karnataka taught a fitting lesson to the BJP, KJP and BSR Congress party, he added.
The TDP leader stated that there were similarities between the Yeddyurappa’s KJP in Karnataka and Jagan’s YSRCP in the State like Jaganmohan Reddy walking out of the Congress and floating his own party, Jagan minting one lakh crores of rupees by illegal methods and his over confidence that he would become chief minister of the State with the help of his community and money power. Besides, the unholy alliance in corrupt deeds between BSR Congress party and YSR Congress party was well known to everybody in the State, he added.
The TDP leader stated that vertical split in the Congress vote-bank, multi-crore scams during late YSR regime, partnership between Janardhan Reddy and Jaganmohan Reddy in corrupt deals and people’s aversion to the Congress would play a key role in the elections in Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu people, like their Karnataka counterparts, would certainly teach a fitting lesson to the corrupt monsters in the State and give a massive mandate to the Telugu Desam party. (NSS)
