New Delhi, November 27: Congress President Sonia Gandhi today greeted the people of the country on the eve of Id-ul-Zuha saying it symbolises the supreme sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim.
“Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) symbolises the supreme sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim. It is celebrated with great rejoice, fervour and gaiety throughout the world,” she said in her message.
Gandhi said, “I send my warm greetings and good wishes”.
