Bangaram, January 01: Congress President Sonia Gandhi is on a week-long private visit to the Lakshadweep Islands to celebrate the New Year along with her family, officials said here today.
The UPA (United Progressive Alliance) Chairperson arrived here yesterday from Goa along with her mother Paola Manio, daughter Priyanka Gandhi and son-in-law Robert Vadera, they said.
AICC (All India Congress Committee) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is also likely to join them, they said.
