Sonia Gandhi is angry at by-election results

During the meeting of Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, CM of AP, Ms, Sonia Gandhi, Congress President expressed her anger on the poor performance of the Congress candidates in the recently held by-election in the State.

CM meet the members of the Core Committee and explained the reasons for the poor performance of the Congress. CM was called by Congress High Command. He went alongwith APCC President Mr. B. Satyanarayana but Sonia Gandhi granted audience only to the CM.

CM apprised Sonia Gandhi about the present political situation in the state and told her that due to Jagan’s arrest before elections, the situation changed. Mr. Ahmed Patel, Political Advisor to Sonia Gandhi was also present in the meeting. CM told that YSR Congress won elections due to Jagan’s arrest. Despite his wave, Congress won two seats. She reviewed the implementation of the promises made in the election manifesto of Congress.
