AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi, who is on campaign spree in Telangana for quite a few days, is now set to address a few meetings in Seemandhra too. She is expected to address first public meeting at Visakhapatnam on May 2. Sonia Gandhi’s program assumes significance in the wake of Telangana and Seemandhra facing general elections. It may not be smooth going for Sonia’s tour which is being expected to invite wrath from a section of people in Seemandhra region in the wake of bifurcation. It is learnt that the government made all security arrangements for Sonia Gandhi’s program. The public are expressing discontent on the Congress for its decision to divide the state.
While AICC Deputy Chief and Congress Prime Ministerial Candidate Rahul Gandhi, who wound up his Telangana tour, is to participate in political campaign in Hindupur in Ananthapuram district, APCC leader, M Gangadhar said.(nss)
