Congress MP Sarvey Satyanarayana on Friday stated that there was no change in leadership in the State.
Talking to media persons after emerging out of meeting with Congress president Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath, Sarvey Satyanarayana said that Sonia Gandhi has not hinted anything about change in Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana.
Satyanarayana said that Sonia was in opinion that the change in leadership would not be good for the state at this juncture. Admitting that a section of leaders seeking change in leadership following party failure in the by-elections, he said that Kiran Kumar Reddy was working efficiently despite facing all odds.
Satyanaraya said that the dissatisfaction among the leaders would be come down if the high command allots one Deputy Chief Minister post to Seemandra and one more PCC post for Telangana region. He said that Sonia has indicated that she would focus her entire attention on the Telangana issue once the election for Presidential post concludes.
Satyanarayana said that conditions in the state would improve once the Presidential elections completed.
