Mumbai, June 14: After Ayaan Mukherjee (WAKE UP SID) and Parmeet Sethi (BADMAASH COMPANY), it is now the turn of another first time director Puneet Malhotra to hit the target with his very first film, I HATE LUV STORYS. The film is red hot in the trade circle and its promos have caught the fancy of the youths, a sure shot indicator that the film will definitely open to full houses when it releases all over on 2nd July.
The captain of the ship, the director Puneet Malhotra may be very young and directing a film for the first time but leading lady, the ravishing Sonam Kapoor who has earlier worked under veteran and established names like Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SAAWARIYA) and Rakeysh Mehra (DILLI 6) is all praises for Puneet .
Sonam states that the moment she read the script (Puneet has written the script of IHLS) she understood that Puneet was no novice and had a sound knowledge of the medium. She reveals that Puneet had actively participated in all aspects of filmmaking right from choosing songs to the dialogues, which she says are brilliant. She also says that Puneet is very mature for his age and looks at life with a very different way.
I HATE LUV STORYS is definitely looking very different from the run off the mill romantic films that one comes across and after hearing Sonam’s views on the director we are sure to that it will impress its target audience too.
