Mumbai, July 20: Almost all the films have kissing scenes these days. And almost all actors have smooched onscreen. It’s no big news anymore but it came as a shock when we heard that Sonam Kapoor would kiss in her dad’s production venture Aisha, simply because she is just three films old and and the public don’t expect her to do it so early in her career.
It may be Sonam’s first onscreen kiss but she has earned praises from co-star Abhay Deol, who had earlier actresses like Neha Dhupia in Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Mahie Gill in Dev D and Neetu Chandra in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!.
“Sonam is a great kisser. In fact, she’s the best kisser out of all the co-stars I have shared a kissing scene with,” Indiatimes quoted Abhay as saying. “Sonam and I share a great bond and due to the comfort level we share, doing the lip locking scene wasn’t very difficult,” he added.
Aisha, produced by Anil Kapoor and directed by Rajshree Ojha, is an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma. It is scheduled for release on August 6.
