Mumbai: Actress Sonam Kapoor known as the fashion icon of Bollywood she says, she will be donning a mixture of high-end fashion and traditional Indian wear in her forthcoming film Veere Di Wedding.
‘Veere Di Wedding’, will begin its shoot in August, The film, which is meant to be a fun ride, explores the spirit of the modern Indian woman having mainly a female starcast with actresses like Kareena Kapoor Khan,Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
Sonam is in talks with many designers for the film which celebrates the spirit of the modern day woman The actress has always experimented with her looks over the years.
Sonam said in a statement that. “My looks in the film are a mix of high-end fashion and traditional Indian wear with a contemporary twist. Rhea (producer) and I are working on them closely.”
“We wanted to push the envelope with Veere Di Wedding since it’s a complete feel good film. We are meeting lot of designers on collaborations,” she added.
