Actress Sonakshi Sinha seems too busy to spare time for her co-star and mentor Salman Khan as she has been postponing the shoots for Dabangg 2. The actress is busy with Rowdy Rathore’s promotions, which is slated to release on June 1. Two other projects, viz Son of Sardar and Lootera are also planned to release before Dabangg2. Not only this, she has also kept a team of 400 dancers on hold because of her tight schedule.
Sonakshi readily admits that she has been very busy with her work but at the same time, she rubbishes all the deliberately attached rumors regarding her film shoots. She said, “But I’d never stall another project, and we’ve never had 400 dancers hanging around on the sets of Dabangg 2, waiting to shoot. These rumours are silly and untrue.”
Her co-star Salman Khan seems upset with the fact that she talks about Dabangg 2 on the sets of SOS. To this she protested and said, “Even if I speak about Dabangg 2, what’s the harm? It’s as much my film as anyone else’s!”
Dabangg ended on a note when Rajo tells her husband about her pregnancy. This left people wondering will she appear as a mommy in its sequel. To this she laughed and said, “Now you’re fishing for details. You’ll have to wait to see the film to know that. Everyone seems eager to turn me into a mummy.”
In the meantime, she has Rowdy Rathore coming up, which is slated to release on June 1. The movie is a remake of Telugu hit Vikramarkudu and the actress is pretty confident of her director’s skills and says that the movie will have a good audience in the Hindi remake too.
“Not everyone will have seen the South movies, and in Hindi, it’ll have a different flavor. Language is no bar for inspiration, but you can’t make the same movie again and again,” she said.
Sonakshi claimed the remake to be very different from the original movie and said, “I’ve seen the Telugu version and enjoyed it thoroughly. But I can promise you that Rowdy Rathore is not Vikramarkudu.”
With so many in-hand projects and brilliant co-starts, the actress has a good chance of establishing a strong foothold in tinsel town.
