New Delhi: Terming the important positions given to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s two sons-Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejaswi Yadav as ‘son rise’, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said this ‘son rise’ should not become the cause of ‘sunset’ of governance in Bihar.
“Two sons of Lalu Prasad Yadav has been inducted in a very senior post, few questions do arise. We expect that this ‘son rise’ does not become the cause of ‘sunset’ of governance in Bihar, because they hardly have any experience,” BJP leader Sambit Patra told ANI.
Patra took a dig at Lalu saying it is height of dynastic politics as the RJD talks of ‘Samajwad’ but it indulges in ‘Parivarwad’.
“Where is the justice done to the own party men? Lalu Prasad Yadav has shown the trust only in his family, not his party. The one who will not justice with his party, how can he do justice for the society at large?” he added.
Another BJP leader G.V.L Narasimha Rao congratulated the new government in Bihar and also hoped that the unlikely coalition of two divergent parties must fulfil the aspiration of the people of Bihar.
“Bihar is a very important state and its development and progress is very important for the overall national growth. We hope that the kind of inconsistency and incompatibility that exist between different formations in this coalition will not spoil the overall governance in the state,” Rao told ANI.
“We certainly have apprehensions, but we hope the people of Bihar will not feel disappointed with the kind of governance that they see in the weeks and months ahead,” he added.
Yesterday, in a grand event, Nitish Kumar swore in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the fifth time at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
Tejaswi Yadav swore-in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. He has also been given the additional responsibility of three ministries.
Tej Pratap Yadav has also been allocated three ministries in the Nitish Kumar-led Cabinet.(ANI)
