A man murdered his father after he did not not give money to buy cell phone at Chandrayangutta.
According to Chandrayangutta police, deceased A. Narsimha (45) S/o late Maisaiah of Indiranagar, Bandlaguda in Chandrayangutta worked as a labourer and staying with his son A Sai Kumar (19) On Thursday May 15, Sai Kumar, demanded money from Narsimha, leading to an argument between them. Later when Narsimha went to sleep, his son doused him with kerosene and set him ablaze, the police said. Immediately Narsimha was rushed to Osmania General Hospital for treatment where he succumbed on Monday.
Chandrayangutta police registered a case of murder under section 302 IPC against Sai Kumar and dead body shifted to OGH mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives and police arrested Sai Kumar. Inspector A Srinivasa Rao said. (INN)
