In a heinous incident occurred at Moinabad late on Friday night, a 55-year-old woman was strangled to death, by her own son, over property dispute.
The victim Anjamma, W/O Shankaraiah R/O Surangal village of Moinabad, was found dead in her bedroom. Police suspected the role of her son Srisailam and daughter-in-law Madhavi. According to neighbours Srisailam, has debts to the tune of Rs 11 lakhs so, he and his wife were putting pressure on Anjamma to sell her two-acre farm land to clear their debts. However, Anjamma rejected the proposal.
Moinabad police has registered a case and dead body was shifted to Osmania Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
