Coimbatore, March 03: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly murdered his mother for delay in giving him water while having dinner, police said.
Shaktivel, elder son of Govindammal, hit her with a log as he did not get water to drink on time on the night of February 23, they said.
Govindammal was admitted to a private hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries last night, police said, adding before dying the woman had given her statement to them.
