Hyderabad, June 18: (Siasat News) Mohammad Ghouse Jani son of an auto driver Mohammad Ameer overpowering poverty with strong determination and high ambitions bagged 2nd rank in the state in EAMCET engineering stream and has set an example for Muslim students.
The success of Mohammad Ghouse is celebrated all over Vishakapatnam. People are thronging in to the house of Mohammad Ghouse to congratulate his parents. The poor student who achieved exemplary success in the EAMCET belongs to Vishakapatnam and his father earns his livelihood by driving an auto. Like other students Mohammad Jani too wanted to study in private school and take tuitions to move ahead in the world of comptetion but his financial conditions didn’t allow him to do so. Yet Mohammad Jani didn’t allow poverty to hold back his educational career. Completing his school education in a government school he passed his 10th class exam scoring 512 out of 600 marks.
He was worried about his future studies when Narayana College Vishakapatnam offered him free education. Taking hold of this opportunity Mohammad Jani took admission in the college and then never looked back. College administration extended its full support to Mohammad Jani who tried to outdo his colleagues in the college internal exams. Scoring 159 out of 600 in the EAMCET exam Mohammad Jani obtained 2nd rank in the state in engineering stream.
As soon as the results were announced, media persons surrounded Mohammad Jani and his parents. Electronic media were busy trying to surpass one another to take his and his parents’ interview. Giving on interview for media Mohammad Jani attributed his success to the prayers of his parents and efforts of his lecturers.
Talking about his future plans he said he would try to fulfill his fathers wish to become an IAS officer. When asked about his interest in studies inspite of poverty he answered “no doubt I belong to a poor family yet I never allowed poverty to restrain me, I gave special attention to the studies, my parents did whatever they could do for me and also encouraged me. College administration too cooperated with me.
After taking admission in the first year I continued studies with a strategy to obtain below 5 rank in the EAMCET engineering. I gave special attention to every subject. My hard work rewarded me with success and I have got 2nd rank as expected.

Ms. Shahnaz mother of Mohammad Jani said ‘my son has fulfilled his father’s dream with hard work and enthusiasm. I feel proud to see him giving interview on television. Our house is filled with flowers and bouquets and people are thronging in to congratulate us.’
